Neighbor Day – Guest Country France
On the second day of our congress, we are pleased to welcome distinguished guests from France, our guest country, who will present their latest research and insights in transfusion medicine and immunohematology. This special session strengthens the scientific exchange with France and our other neighboring countries. Abstracts from France, Italy, and other neighboring countries are very welcome and can be held in English.
Early Carerr Lounge
We offer a dedicated lounge for early-career attendees of the congress with a comfortable space for networking, informal discussions, and exchange with peers and experienced colleagues in the field
Dear Sir or Madam,
Dear colleagues,
Rapid advances in medicine also require constant development in transfusion medicine. In almost every specialist area, we are faced with complex questions regarding the diagnosis and treatment of immunohematological and haemostaseological diseases.
Under the motto ‘Optimal therapy through better basic knowledge’, we would like to equip you with the best possible knowledge of the various key areas of transfusion medicine. Our goal is to convey practice- and research-oriented topics from immunohematology, transplant immunology, cell therapy and haemostaseology and to provide you with targeted support in your everyday clinical work as well as in planning your scientific careers.
We have ensured that outstanding national and international experts will travel to Stuttgart/Tübingen to present the latest findings first-hand, especially for our young transfusion medicine professionals. Take advantage of this opportunity to deepen your knowledge and strengthen your professional network.
A special highlight of the conference will be Neighbourday, when we will blur European borders and focus on international scientific exchange.
Special thanks – merci beaucoup et bienvenue – go to our French guests, whose expertise and perspectives enrich this congress in a special way.
The focus is on innovative preparations, new therapeutic strategies and joint discussion of current challenges in transfusion medicine. From molecular mechanisms to individual therapy, we want to bridge the gap between basic research and clinical application and provide new impetus for modern patient care.
In addition to the presentations, there will be ample opportunity during the breaks to talk to the speakers and representatives from science and industry and to deepen the discussions.
Be part of this knowledge transfer!
We would like to thank you in advance for your contributions to the 2026 Annual Conference and look forward to meeting you in person.
Kind regards,
On behalf of the organising team from the "Länd",
Professor Tamam Bakchoul, MD
